About Requirement :
Indian Navy was invited application for MR (matric recruit ) on 18 July 2019 and last date was 01/08/2019 .
Indian navy was invited for past chef, steward , and hygienist. Many students have applied for this post. Now they are preparing for their exam.
About Exam :
The students who filled the online application successfully will face the exam.
The exam will be scheduled on Sep 2019. The date will be announced soon on the official website (www.joinindiannavy.gov.in) .
The written exam will be conduct first it will be computer based exam.
Selection Process :
The selection process has been divided into 3 section
- Written Exam.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
- Medical Standards.
Exam Patten :
- The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English ) and computer based objective type.
Total Question Duration Language 50 Questions 30 min Hindi & English - The question paper have total 50 question each crying 1 mark.
- Paper will be divided in two section , section A (Math & Science ) , Section B (General Knowledge ).
- Question paper will be 10th level the syllabus and sample paper are available on our website Indian Navy MR Sample paper
- Duration of examination will be 30 minutes.
- The candidate are required to pass in all section.
- There will be negative marking of ¼ in question paper means (0.25) numbers will be cut from a right answer.
Written Exam Syllabus :
Section A : SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS
- Nature of Matter, Universe (Planets/ Earth/ Satellites/ Sun), Electricity and its applications
- Force and Gravitation, Newton’s Laws Of Motion, Work, Energy and Power
- Heat, Temperature, metals and NonMetals, Carbon and its Compounds, Measurements in Science, Sound & Wave Motion, Atomic Structure
- Mathematical Simplification, Ratio and Proportion, Algebraic Identities, Linear Equations and Polynomials, Simultaneous Equations, Basic Trigonometry
- Simple Mensuration, Geometry, Measures of Central Tendency (Average, Median and Mode)
- Interest, Profit, Loss and Percentage, Work, Time, Speed and Distance.
Section B : GENERAL AWARENESS
- Geography: Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland, Harbours.
- Culture and Religion, Freedom Movement, Important National Facts about India, Heritage, Arts and Dance.
- History, Defence, Wars and neighbours, Awards and Authors, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition.
- Current Affairs, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, Common Names, Full Forms and Abbreviations.
- Eminent Personalities, National : Bird/Animal/Sport/Flower/Anthem/ Song/Flag/Monuments.
- Sports : Championships / Winners/ Terms/ Number of Players.
Physical Standard :
Qualifying fitness test which consist of –
- 1.6 km run in 7 minutes.
- 20 squats ( Uthak Baithak )
- 10 push ups.
Medical Standards :
- Minimum height of 157 cm.
- Proportionate weight.
- Minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.
- Good mental & physical health.
- Disease free
- No cardio vascular disease.
- No surgical deformities like knock-knees , flat foot etc.
- Eyes –
