Past Perfect Continuous Tense in Hindi with Examples

Past Perfect Continuous Tense के वाक्यों के अंत मे ‘रहा था ‘, ‘रही थी ‘, ‘रहे थे आदि शब्द आते हैं।   इन वाक्यों में भूतकाल(Past) में काम का जारी रहना पाया जाता है और काम शुरू होने का समय भी दिया होता है  जैसे – हम मैदान में दो घण्टे से खेल रहे थे।   सभी Subject के साथ Had been का प्रयोग करते है।  

  STRUCTURE :

Affirmative Sentences  (सकारात्मक वाक्य )

नियम 1 – इन वाक्यों में प्रत्येक कर्ता (subject ) के साथ Has been का प्रयोग करते है तथा verb में ing फॉर्म लगाते है । यहाँ पर For और Since का प्रयोग उसी प्रकार होता है जैसा कि हमने पिछले पाठ Present Perfect Continuous Tense में किया था    Translation Rule –

⇒Sub + had + been + v4 + obj + since/for + time

Example :-

(1) सीता सुबह से अपनी गुड़ियों से खेल रही थी।    Sita had been playing with her dolls since morning.   (2) किसान सुबह से खेत जोत रहे थे।     The farmers had been ploughing the field since morning.   (3) वे मेरा पाँच घण्टों से इंतजार कर रहे थे।     They had been waiting for me for five hours.   (4) हम मैदान में दो घण्टे से खेल रहे थे।     We had been playing in the field for 2 hours.   (5) वे लड़कियाँ तीन घण्टे से अपने कपड़े सी रहीं थीं। Those girls had been sewing their clothes for 3 hours.

Negative Sentences ( नकारात्मक वाक्य )

नियम 2 – Negative Sentences में had  के तुरंत बाद not लगा देते है ।  

Translation Rule –

⇒ Sub + had +not + been + v4+ obj + since/for + time

Example :-

(1) सीता सुबह से अपनी गुड़ियों से नहीं खेल रही थी।
Seeta had not been playing with her dolls since morning.

(2) किसान सुबह से खेत नही जोत रहे थे।
  The farmers had not been ploughing the field since morning.

(3) वे मेरा पाँच घण्टों से इंतजार नही कर रहे थे।
    They had not been waiting for me for 2 hours.

(4) हम मैदान में दो घण्टों से नही खेल रहे थे।
   We had not been playing in the field for 2 hours.

(5) वे लड़कियाँ तीन घण्टों से अपने कपड़े नही सी रहीं थीं।
Those girls had not been sewing their clothes for 3 hours.

Interrogative Sentences  (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य )

नियम 3 – अगर वाक्य में सबसे पहले ‘क्या’ शब्द आता है तो ऐसे वाक्यों में Had को sabject से पहले लगाते है जैसा कि आप इस फोर्मुले में देख सकते है । Interrogatve Negative Sentences में not के बाद been लगाते है।  

Translation Rule –

⇒ Had + sub + (not) + been + obj +v4+since/for + time

Example – (1) क्या सीता सुबह से अपनी गुडियों से खेल रही थी ?
Had Seeta been playing with her dolls since morning?

(2) क्या वे मेरा इंतजार पाँच घण्टों से कर रहे थे ?
   Had they been waiting for me for 5 hours?

(3) क्या हम मैदान में दो घण्टे से नही खेल रहे थे ?
   Had we not been playing in the field for 2 hours?

(4) क्या किसान सुबह से खेत जोत रहा था ?
   Had the farmer been ploughing the field since morning?

(5) क्या वे लड़कियां तीन घंटो से अपने कपड़े नही सी रहीं थीं ?
Had those girls not been sewing their clothes for 3 hours?

Double Interrogative Sentences   (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य )

नियम 4 – अगर वाक्य के बीच में कोई प्रश्नवाचक शब्द जैसे – ‘क्या ‘,क्यों ‘,’कब ,’कैसे’,’कहाँ ‘ इत्यादि हो तो उसकी अंग्रेजी सबसे पहले लिखते है उसके बाद had लिखकर वाकी का वाक्य बनाते है ।  

Translation Rule –

⇒ When /how / why etc. + Had + sub +(not) + been +v4+ obj + since/for+ time

Example:-

(1) सीता सुबह से अपनी गुडियों से कैसे खेल रही थी ?
How had Seeta been playing with her dolls since morning?

(2) वे क्यों मेरा इंतजार पांच घण्टों से कर रहे थे ?
  Why had they been waiting for me for 5 hours?

(3) हम कहाँ दो घण्टों से खेल रहे थे ?
  Where had we been playing for 2 hours?

(4) किसान सुबह से खेत क्यों नही जोत रहा था ?
 Why had the farmer not been ploughing the field since morning?

(5) वे लड़कियां तीन घण्टों से अपने कपड़े क्यों नही सी रहीं थीं ?
Why had those girls not been sewing their clothes for 3 hours? Note:-here v4 means verb’s ing form.

9. लड़के दोपहर से नदी में नहा रहे थे 
10. मैं तुम्हारा तीन बजे से इंतज़ार कर रहा था

Past Perfect Continuous Tense Negative Sentences Examples In Hindi ( नकारात्मक वाक्य )

1. किसान सुबह से खेत नहीं जोत रहा था 
2. सीता सुबह से अपनी गुड़ियों के साथ नहीं खेल रही थी 
3. वह तुम्हारा  सुबह से इंतजार नहीं कर रही थी 
4. बढई दो दिन से काम नहीं कर रहा था 
5. वे सुबह से नहीं टहल रहे थे 
6. मै एक महीने से अपने भाई का होमवर्क नहीं  कर रहा था 
7. नौकर तीन दिन से खाना नहीं बना रहा था 
8. लड़के दोपहर से नदी में नहीं नहा रहे थे 
9. कुम्हार चार दिन से बर्तन नहीं बना रहा था 
10. वे दोपहर से क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे थे.

English Translation –

6. I had not been doing my brother’s homework for a month.
7. The servant had not been cooking for three days.

10. They had not been playing cricket since noon.

Past Perfect Continuous Tense Interrogative Sentence Example in Hindi ( प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य )

1. क्या किसान सुबह से खेत जोत रहा था? 
2. क्या मेरा भाई एक महीने से स्कूल नहीं जा रहा था? 
3. क्या हम उनकी सहायता कई सालों से नहीं कर रहे थे?
4. क्या वे दो घंटे से नहीं खेल रहे थे?
5. क्या यह धोबी सुबह पांच बजे से कपडे प्रेस कर रहा था? 
6. क्या वह 7 बजे से अखवार पढ़ रहा था ?
7. क्या वे मेरा सुबह से इन्तेजार नहीं कर रहे थी ?

5. Had this washerman been pressing the cloths for 5 ‘o’clock in the morning?
6. Had he been reading the newspaper for 7 o’clock?
7. Had they not been waiting for me since morning?
8. Had Mohan been reading this book for 2 days?
9. Had I not been suffering from fever since Monday?
10. Where had the farmer been working for 4 hours?
11. What book had been the teacher teaching since Saturday?
12. What had you been doing here for 2 days?
